How to fix Clef profile permissions errors

Seeing one of the following messages:

  • user did not have desired info during a mobile log in
  • or Site XYZ is requesting the following information during a desktop-based login

indicates that the Clef-enabled website you are trying to access is requesting permission to access information that is not yet stored in your Clef profile (i.e., First Name, Last Name, Email, or Phone).

Developers: see the “What are permissions” section of the API guide.
