What should I do if I'm seeing a wrong domain error?

You will see this error if the settings in the Clef dashboard do not match the way you're actually using the integration. There are a few situations where this happens.

If you've recently moved your site to a new domain

If you've recently moved your site, you need to update your settings in the Clef dashboard. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Update your settings button
  2. Change the value in the Application Domain field to your new domain
  3. You should be good to go!

If you're just starting a custom integration

If you're just starting an integration, you need to make sure that you've added the correct domains to the Application Domain field. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Update your settings button
  2. Add any domains where your site will be running in development or production to Application Domain
  3. You should be good to go!
