Live and testing mode
Every custom integration is divided into two environments: one for testing, and one for running on your live website. Each environment has its own set of API credentials but shares general configuration settings for the integration.
You should only use your test API keys for testing and live keys for your production website. In both cases, you should make sure to never publish your application secret, since this, combined with the application ID, can perform requests to the Clef without restriction.
You can access all of your API keys by switching between your test and live dashboards on your settings page.
In order to make sure integration best practices are met, you won't be able to access your live keys until you have completed the required integration steps in your test environment. This ensures that the Clef integration works smoothly for you and your users.
